Water Lily in Summer

In my landscape paintings, I often incorporate water and their reflections into the composition, so the capture of water lilies is a natural progression for me. I enjoy the subtle blending of color in the flowers along with the challenge of indicating stems and roots that gradually disappear into the black water.
