White: Titanium White
Black: Ivory Black
Earth Tones: Yellow Ochre, Raw Sienna, Burnt Sienna,
Yellow: Cadmium Yellow Medium, Cadmium Yellow Light
Orange: Cadmium Orange
Red: Cadmium Red Lt.,  Alizarin Crimson,
Blue: Ultramarine, Cobalt Blue, Cerulean or Compose Blue, (Compose is priced less than Cerulean & only Holbein makes it)
Horizon Blue, Verditer Blue by Holbein (optional colors for skies)
Saint Remy Blue, Cerulean Blue Hue by Charvin (optional colors for skies)
Green: Permanent Green Light, Sap Green
Violet French Blue Violet by Charvin, or any standard Violet

MEDIUMS
Liquin (8 oz.bottle)Turpenoid (small size can)
Low-Odor Mineral Spirits for cleaning brushes (Buy gallon size at hardware store,then transport smaller amount in small container to class)

BRUSHES
Bristle Brushes:
#2 Round Brush
One Each- #2, #4, #6, and #8 Filbert Brushes
#3 Fan Brush
2 all-purpose, small size, inexpensive house painter brushes, (one for applying gesso and the other for initial color washes)
1 Palette Knife (medium size)

DRAWING MATERIALS
I Box/Soft Vine Charcoal, (medium thickness)
1 Kneaded Eraser

PAINTING SURFACES
Gessoed canvas or pre-stretched canvas panels
I will demonstrate how you can make hand-made gessoed canvas and luon or masonite panels in class. 
Suggested sizes:9”x 12”11”x 14”12”x 16”16”x 20”

PALETTE
Wooden palette if you already have one
or create your own home-made, glass palette, taped over a neutral gray poster board or gray painted background, 12x16 or larger (I prefer painting on a glass palette & will demonstrate in class)  or a tear-away, wax coated, gray paper palette

EASEL
If you prefer sitting, bring a small tabletop easel. If you prefer standing, bring a tripod with an easel attachment or French easel

MISCELLANEOUS MATERIALS
Tackle Box or Art Bin Box to hold supplies
Single Edge Razor Blades Roll of Masking Tape1 Can Workable Fixative
Paper Towels or Rags1 Brush Cleaning Tank (to hold low-odor mineral spirits for cleaning brushes) and or 3 small, empty plastic containers with lids, (one for storing Turpenoid, one for storing Liquin paint medium and one for cleaning brushes)
