Congaree River Passage

This 36" x 48" oil on canvas depicts the iconic Gervais Street Bridge in Columbia, South Carolina in late afternoon, looking east toward the city with the capital dome on the distant horizon. In summer, when rainfall is scarce, the rocks immerge creating stepping stones to venture into the shallows of the Congaree.
