Enchanted Thursdays

This oil sketch was inspired from my many visits to the Hunter-Gatherer nightclub in Columbia, SC. For over 17 years, Thursday nights saw live, improvisational jazz being performed there by some of the most gifted musicians in the south. This weekly event was organized and conducted by saxophonist, Skipp Pearson, considered by many to be South Carolina's "Jazz Ambassador."
