Preservation Hall Jazz Band

The Preservation Hall Band derives its name from the Preservation Hall venue located in New Orleans' French Quarter, and is known for performing traditional New Orleans- style jazz. Since their inception in the early 1960's, musicians in the group varied and were among the first venue that welcomed both Caucasian and African American musicians.
