The late light in Sedona is sometimes referred to as the“Golden Hour”, or the time when the centuries-old rock formations soak up every last bit of light. This view was presented at the top of our trail where the warm oranges, reds, and cool purple/ blues depicting the mountains contrasted against the greens of the century plants and other vegetation found in the foreground of the painting.
