This is a spot on the Saluda where I like to visit throughout the year. The visual is obviously quite different from summer to fall considering the tremendous color change that takes place. The fluctuating water levels creates enormous compositional changes. When the river recedes, the exposed rocks in the riverbed add interest by further connecting the land to the water.
