Riverscape

Along the banks of the Broad River in Columbia, South Carolina I found this tree, water and rock-filled composition. Returning later in the day, I was drawn to the brilliant backlighting of the multicolored leaves that contrasted against the deep shadows of the shoreline and the tall, vertical shapes of the tree trunks.
