The turquoise-fronted amazon, also called the turquoise-fronted parrot and the blue-fronted parrotis a South American species and one of the most common companion parrots. It's name is derived from the distinctive turquoise marking on its head just above its beak. This parrot is mainly green, with yellow on the face and crown, and its range extends over eastern and northern Bolivia, to Paraguay and northern Argentina.
